Civil servants from the Republic of Niger studied Russian experience in modern public administration at the Graduate School of Public Management's advanced training program of the same name

A 14-person foreign delegation arrived in Moscow to complete the advanced training program "Modern Public Administration Technologies."

The opening ceremony was attended by:

  • Alexey Komissarov, Rector of the Presidential Academy

  • Sergey Yezhov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Specialist of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation

  • Pavel Shevtsov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo

  • Issa Abdou Sidiku, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Niger to the Russian Federation

  • Andrey Margolin, Vice-Rector of the Presidential Academy

  • Oleg Kondratenko, Director of the Graduate School of Public Administration

In his welcoming remarks, Alexey Komissarov noted:

"I am confident that this training program will not only provide a unique opportunity to prepare for public administration but also to learn more about the rich culture and traditions of our country, and will also be an important step in strengthening bilateral relations between our countries. May these days be filled with discoveries, productive discussions, and enjoyable interactions, not only professional but also personal."

Issa Abdou Sidiku addressed the audience and guests:

"It is through such educational and professional exchanges that true mutual understanding between peoples is born. On behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Niger, please allow me to express my sincere gratitude to the leadership of the Presidential Academy for the high level of organization of the program and their support for the development of our cooperation!"

The training was held at the Presidential Academy. Participants visited the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation and the Situation Center of the Moscow Government, as well as Moscow's landmarks.

  • Technological Trends and the Digital Transformation of Public Administration

  • Artificial Intelligence as a Driver of Digital Transformation: From Automation to Autonomy

  • Communications, International Negotiations

  • International Protocol

The program concluded with a roundtable discussion, during which participants summarized the training, discussed the prospects for applying the acquired knowledge in their professional activities, and shared their impressions.

The programs are implemented by the Graduate School of Public Management (GSPM) with the support of the Presidential Academy's International Development Department in accordance with the Russian Federation's comprehensive state program "Assistance to International Development" for 2026.
