The Presidential Academy's Graduate School of Public Management (GSPM) has launched its advanced training program, "Digital Transformation of the Public Administration System," at the Royal Academy of Management in Muscat. Participants include employees of ministries and government agencies of the Sultanate of Oman, including the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, the Tax Service, and other government bodies.
During the training, Omani partners will be introduced to Russian experience in digitalizing the public sector and will explore key areas of digital transformation: the development of electronic government services, GovTech platform solutions, and strategic digital development planning.
Oman is the sixth country to implement this program this year. Opening the program, Felix Gadzaov, Director of the Graduate School of Public Management's Digital School, noted that digital transformation today goes far beyond the implementation of technologies and electronic services, as it involves developing the competencies of civil servants and a new level of interaction between the state, citizens, and businesses.
Russian Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman Oleg Levin noted the importance of exchanging experience between Russian and Omani experts and expressed confidence in further strengthening cooperation between the Presidential Academy and the Royal Academy of Management.
In July, the colleagues will fly to Moscow, where they will learn about advanced Russian digital governance practices and visit the Moscow Center for Advanced Technologies, the Skolkovo Innovation Center, and other leading organizations implementing cutting-edge solutions in public administration.
